Fitness to Scale to support growth at a rapidly scaling data science company

Quantexa, one of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies, wanted to understand its current culture and see if its “Cultural DNA” had spread to other offices beyond its HQ in London.

Quantexa asked us to conduct two Fitness to Scale reviews as part of its efforts to develop an exemplary, “people first” workplace culture.

It used our insights and recommendations to make improvements in communication, leadership, L&D, onboarding, recruitment, CSR, employee wellbeing and international expansion with the help of employee-led workstreams. This has resulted in Glassdoor scores which are consistently 5 star, reduced spending on external recruitment agencies and additional funding rounds being successful. Our analysis concluded Quantexa’s unique cultural DNA had carried into its newly formed US offices.

I began my design career by winning a scholarship to study at Shillington College on their famous graphic design course. My aesthetic is fresh, sophisticated and clean. I work as a freelance designer and have helped numerous companies express themselves visually through brand guidelines, web design, print layout, logos and brand assets.

Before following my dream to be a designer I worked for several years in architecture, strategy consultancy and running major historic building renovation programmes. This background supports my design career enormously - it means I understand the drivers behind my clients needs and I ask the right questions to help understand the design brief. Having managed large architectural design projects I’m also a project management aficionado, and providing great customer service comes second nature to me.
