Series A Due Diligence for a leading VC
As part of the due diligence process for its investment into a rapidly scaling B2B services company, Smedvig asked Scalewell to assess the founders of the company and to provide recommendations for their development and evolution of their roles.
For each leader Scalewell conducted a detailed assessment interview as well as reference interviews with their peers and reports, gathered additional inputs via assessment surveys and deployed Hogan psychometric assessments. We also conducted a review of the executive team. Before submitting our reports, we carried out debriefs with each leader and co-developed a personal development plan.
Our detailed reports on each leader and the team identified a number of development and attention points to ensure agreement on post completion individual and collective development activities as well as C-Suite hiring implications. The company has continued to scale quickly and the roles of the leaders have evolved in line with our recommendations.
